Jon Fliss

Jon Fliss was appointed vice president of Global Talent Development in September 2010. He is responsible for advancing Textron's ability to attract, retain and develop talent. As such, he oversees Textron recruiting efforts, Textron University programs, and helps facilitate talent movement within and across Textron's businesses. He is an officer of the corporation and a member of the Human Resources Leadership Team.

Fliss joined Textron in 2003 as director of executive compensation and benefits. Most recently, he served as vice president of Human Resources at Textron Financial. Prior to Textron, he spent eight years at Sears, Roebuck & Co. in various leadership positions spanning both the human resources and strategic planning disciplines and five years as an officer in the United States Army.

Fliss has earned his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the Society from Human Resource Management. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Management from the U.S. Military Academy - West Point and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
