Bell

Cessna Aircraft Company

Cessna is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of business jets, utility turboprops and single-engine piston aircraft. Cessna Citations are operated in more than 90 countries, representing the largest fleet of business jets on earth. Textron Systems provides innovative solutions to the defense, homeland security and aerospace communities. The businesses of Textron Systems are known for precision smart weapons, intelligent battlefield systems, surveillance systems, intelligence software solutions, aircraft control components, piston engines, armored vehicles and unmanned aircraft systems.

  • More than 710,000 flight hours logged by the Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System, primarily in support of combat operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • Over 37,000 active Overwatch software licenses across U.S. intelligence agencies, military branches and unified commands.

  • 117 Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems have been ordered by the U.S. Army, Army Reserves, Army National Guard, Marine Corps and USSOCOM; Orders from Sweden, Italy and Australia indicate the growing demand from international customers.

  • Over 3,000 One System Remove Video Terminal units already delivered and fielded.

  • Approximately 5,000 Sensor Fuzed Weapons (SFW) delivered to the U.S. Air Force (USAF) with additional 512 ordered by India and interest in over 1,300 from Saudi Arabia.

  • SFW is the only air delivered weapon of its kind which self-destructs and selfneutralizes unexploded warheads, leaving a clean battlefield.

  • More than 325,000 engines designed and built during Lycoming's 80 years in aviation – over 200,000 of which are still in operation worldwide - more than half of the world's piston powered rotary-wing and fixed-wing general aviation fleet.

Industrial

Textron's industrial segment is composed of four businesses that manufacture and market branded industrial products worldwide.

E-Z-GO is a leading manufacturer of light-transportation products, including golf cars, utility vehicles, personnel carriers and recreational vehicles. Greenlee is a leader in wire and cable installation systems and also develops test instruments for the data communications, telecommunications and fiber optics markets. Jacobsen manufactures a full range of turf maintenance equipment and utility vehicles for the golf course, sports field and municipal turf markets. Kautex is a leading global automotive supplier of plastic fuel systems, selective catalytic reduction systems, and windshield and headlamp cleaning systems.

  • At the end of 2011, Textron's Industrial segment had approximately 7,900 employees, of which 68% were based outside of the U.S.

  • Manufacturing facilities are located in 15 countries: Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
